Abstract

|
The purpose of this study is to expect the f inancial effect of the Medical A id System Reform introduced in July 2007 on Medical Aid expenditure. The result of the analysis applying ARMA model considered as optimal model for this task is as follows. 100.1 billion won for total medical expenditure in the field of the Medical Aid System was expected to be reduced for 6 months after the Reform and 269.7 billion won for 1 year after the Reform, respectively. And it was expected that 397.9 billion won will be saved in 2008 and 1,490.8 billion won in 2013. The result of this study showed that the financial effect of the Medical Aid System Reform introduced in July 2007 will gradually increase as time passes.
